About the Building

ING Maple is a revitalised office building at the heart of Amsterdam’s innovation district. More than a workplace, it serves as a hub where ING employees, students, researchers, and entrepreneurs come together to collaborate and co-create. Designed for flexibility and connection, the building supports new ways of working and reflects a shared commitment to community, creativity, and a sustainable future.

Choosing Next Sense

To support their ambition for a future-proof and high-performing building, ING selected Next Sense’s Monitoring module for the Maple building. The decision was driven by the need for clear, actionable insights into energy use, as well as indoor climate and employee wellbeing. Next Sense enables real-time performance monitoring, dashboards aligned with ESG metrics, Paris Proof standards, and provides the (soon to be) mandatory Building Automation and Control System. ING also leverages the platform for detailed data analysis, identifying optimizations in energy consumption and comfort, resolving system anomalies, and usage the analyses of the integrated data from the Next Sense platform for long-term maintenance and sustainability strategies.
